Product Description This lavishly illustrated film companion takes the reader on a journey into the magical world of Pandora, to get closer to the landscapes, creatures and characters of James Cameron's blockbuster epic, AVATAR. This is the only adult tie-in book to what many are already describing as the cinematic event of 2009.

I'm ready to go to Pandora! January 3, 2010 Dave (Rhoose, WAL, UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is an excellent and detailed book on the planet of Pandora from James Cameron's Avatar and is full of information on it. You learn about the planets many inhabitants from the Na'vi to every other animal and plant. You also find out about the planets many wonders and its position in the universe, as well as information on the RDA. Worth the money, extremely happy that I bought this.
Perfect film companion December 30, 2009 M. Young 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book is brilliant for any hardcore Avatar fans. It goes into all those extra pieces of detail that you sit there dying to know during the film and more. Makes for a very interesting read and sends your imagination spinning over Pandora all over again.
A must-have. December 24, 2009 Novelistgirl (France) 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
Here's something you HAVE to buy if you're an Avatar fan. Full of interesting info on Pandora, the creatures, the plants, the traditions, etc.
It's good to have it if there are some things you didn't understand in the movie or if you forgot the name of some creature, for instance.
And the pictures on every page are just amazing.
Interesting to read and beautiful to look at.
5/5 :)
An outstanding companion to the movie February 11, 2010 F.N. (Paris, France) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The guide is filled with a wealth of information regarding the fauna, flora and geology of Pandora, the Na'vi society (very insightful since relatively little of the Na'vi village life made it to the movie), the weaponry of both humans and Na'vi as well as some useful background regarding the state of planet Earth and the motivations and tactics of RDA.
Every entry is well-written and as scientifically sound as the science-fiction genre will allow, which makes for an engrossing read.
Because it shows and discusses so much more than was shown in the movie, this book is a must have for anyone who enjoyed Avatar. It will make you realise just how much work went into creating Pandora and its inhabitants and will add considerable depth to the movie itself and enhance further viewings.
Epic! January 25, 2010 J. R. Cooper 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Im all for survival guides but this was one of the best! Detail is outstanding and just a general good read. Perfect for geeks, kids, and even adults that dont want to admit they actually liked the movie when they took their kids to see it!
